Representatives / agents in your hotels
Travel agents and representatives at your first hotel welcome/information meeting, will immediately strongly advise you not to buy trips in any local travel offices. Their claim will be that when going on any trips you will not be insured and that the company will not operate legally and that you will be left in the middle of the desert and you will not be insured . This is not the case and could not be further from the truth . The truth is your insurance is valid for the entire period of your stay in Egypt, regardless of whether you go on trips with your local office or with your hotel representatives.
If you read carefully the insurance brochure attached to your travel documents, you will see for yourself that the insurance is valid for all holidays in Egypt. Before each trip, a detailed report is provided on the details of the trip to the Tourist Police and officials for which we receive a safety certificate for the trip. No trip on the Sinai Peninsula will take place without an official pass, any trip without an official pass would not be allowed to travel . So we as independent travel guides take great care and responsibility for your safety on all trips , the same care as taken by your hotel representatives. The warnings given by your hotels is given for one purpose: to drive you away from buying the cheaper trips provided by ourselves and buying a more expensive version from the your hotel representatives , more expensive because a large proportion of the cost is commission , why should you waste your hard earned money on this ?
